Gender Neutral Packaging
Working in pairs, students were asked to create the following assets for a cosmetics company: name; branding elements (wordmark, colors, typefaces); identify three products their company would sell; create packaging for each of the products; developing social media presence (instagram and facebook), and to create a campaign centered around a holiday (Valentine's day, non-denominational winter holiday, Mother's or Father's day).
For this project students generated their own containers by learning how to use Adobe Dimensions.
Rise
These students wanted to focus on the morning routine and created their products around that time of the day. With bright color palettes and bold typography this design is meant to perk you up.
Cleanfreak
The concept for this branding came from student's doodles and was paired with bright colors. The targeted audience for this brand was college age students, in other words students and their classmates.
For the New Year promotion, students created a limited edition bottle series and social media campaign to match it.
Sen
In this project, the student duo came up with a more luxurious approach, combining golden and luscious green tones with a simple, yet effective, sans serif typeface.
Social media promotions centered around New Year's eve and the feeling of a little luxury in their customers' daily routine, captured by the slogan "Daily Prestige."
Base
The duo that created this project worked with the idea of sustainability and natural ingredients as the core principles for their brand. Organic shapes were paired with a take on primary colors, while tracked out sans serif typefaces completed the labels. Recyclable and refillable containers were part of the solution, and Earth Day was selected as a promotional holiday.
